The Keysight S7970A playback solution enables high-quality streaming replay of previously captured signal data, accurately simulating complex real-world signal environments for comprehensive test and measurement.
The solution is built around the Keysight M9383A PXIe microwave signal generator, an agile, modular platform providing wide tuning ranges and wideband streaming modulation capabilities.
The S7970A-020 covers frequencies from 1 MHz to 20 GHz (Option F20), while the S7970A-044 extends frequency tuning coverage from 1 MHz up to 44 GHz (Option F44).
Option 300 supplies the M9300A frequency reference module (providing five 100 MHz outputs), which is strictly required to meet the published data sheet performance and phase accuracy specifications.
The system supports up to 320 MHz streaming modulation bandwidth, provides 500 MHz RF modulation bandwidth (Option C05 / C06), 1 MSample waveform memory (Option M10), and streaming long waveform playback (Option LW1).
